A man has been cautioned after police were called out to a Rawmarsh incident.
Reports of concern for a resident’s welfare were made at lunchtime on Tuesday and Haugh Road was closed while officers and trained negotiators carried out enquiries .
A South Yorkshire police spokesman said: “At around 7.20pm, a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray, cultivation of cannabis and possession of a controlled drug. Nobody was injured during this incident.
“The incident was contained quickly with no immediate risk to the public, but officers would like to thank local people for their patience and cooperation while the situation was resolved.”
The man was cautioned and released.
