THE following people have appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court charged with the following offences.

BALBY: Michaela Robson got on the wrong side of the law when she assaulted a police officer. The 23-year-old of Queen Street, pleaded guilty to the August 19 offence. Robson was ordered to carry out 50 hours unpaid work, pay £50 compensation and attend a women offenders’ programme. She also admitted stealing £9.99 worth of baby bottles on September 1.

BENTLEY: Wayne Anthony Fretwell missed out on a meal deal after being caught nicking just a sandwich from Boots. The 42-year-old of Rostholme Square, admitted taking the £2.50 sarnie on September 1 and in return was fined £45 and ordered to pay costs of £15.

HARWORTH: Dale Bennett was found guilty of damaging a car. Bennett, 26, of Tickhill Road, denied damaging a Fiat Stilo on July 10. He has been discharged conditionally for 12 months and was ordered to pay £200 compensation.

THORNE: Drugs rehabilitation was the punishment for 23-year-old Greg Hinchcliffe who admitted stealing alcohol and aftershave. Hinchcliffe, of King Edward Road, admitted taking £64 worth of booze from Sainsbury’s on July 12 and aftershave from Boots in the Frenchgate. He was ordered to attend a six-month drugs rehabilitation programme.
