COUNCIL offices in a South Yorkshire town are closing in preparation for their relocation to a new site.
The Barnsley Connects office based at Hoyland Town Hall shuts on Friday.
But the office will reopen in the Hoyland Primary Care Trust building, on High Street, on Monday, July 25.
A Barnsley Council spokesman said: “At the new site, officers will continue to provide customers with a full information and enquiry service.
“But customers are reminded there is no longer a payment service available at Barnsley Connects in Hoyland.”
He added: “Relocation to the new Hoyland PCT building at High Street will see Barnsley Connects co-locate with Hoyland Nether Library, providing customers with a single point of access for information, reading and learning.”
