A fun festive day out is promised in Conisbrough with the return of the Christmas Market.

Christmas stalls, a tombola, mulled wine, and Santa, will all be making an appearance at St Peter’s Church Hall on Saturday, December 7, from l0am onwards.

The market will have no fun fair rides this year and in their place a more seasonal fair will be introduced.

Live entertainment will take place throughout the day.

There will also be hot food stalls, along with roast chestnuts, hot toddies and a Christmas cake stall.

Stalls include bric a brac, bacon butties and a book stall, all of which are sure to offer a bargain.

At 4pm there will be a Christingle where children from schools across the area will receive the traditional orange, nuts and a candle.

The planning has taken the whole of the year by the organisers Conisbrough Forward.

The event usually pulls in a few hundred visitors to the village.

All are welcome.
