Epworth will be full of Christmas spirit as it hosts its popular Food Fair on Saturday November 29 from 9am to 3pm.

Christmas is now in everyone’s thoughts and with the days flying by, Christmas food and presents are high on the agenda.

The Epworth Christmas Food Fair will fill the Market Place with around 25 stalls selling the best locally produced food. Come and discover the wonderful array of food on offer direct from the producer.

The Axholme Brewery will be at the market again this time along with delicious cheeses, Christmas Wreaths and home baked cakes to complete the Christmas feeling.

Most of the regular producers will be at the market as well including Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese, Stonecrop Herbs and Fullers Bakery.

Mother Christmas will be popping along to make sure everyone is being extra good ready for the big day.

Go along and enjoy the experience of browsing around the stalls, sampling new tastes and chatting with the friendly and knowledgeable producers.

Everything on offer at the Food Fair comes from just a stone’s throw away and sold directly by the producer.

Not only will Epworth Food Fair satisfy your inner foodie this Christmas but it could get you hooked on the region’s great quality local produce that you can really trust.

There is free parking at the Church Street, Chapel Street and Albion Hill car parks, as well as overflow car parking can be found at Epworth Leisure Centre.

The food fairs began in Epworth during 2012 and have quickly become well established on the local events calendar.

The town already has a great reputation for quality independent shops but now it is gaining one for quality local produce as well.

Councillor Liz Redfern, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “Christmas is just around the corner, so the Epworth Food Fair is the perfect time to start getting ready. There will be some wonderful produce on sale that will be ideal for Christmas meals or if you fancy treating yourself and others there will be lots for those with a sweet tooth.

“Our Food Fairs are always extremely popular and I’m sure the Christmas Fair will be delightful with everyone full of Christmas cheer. Pop along and join in the festivities. Take time to enjoy the Fair, have a coffee and perhaps catch up with friends.”
