TWO choirs hit the high notes to raise £725 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Barnburgh Male Voice Choir and the Barnburgh Village Singers teamed up for the charity gig at St Peter-in-Chains church in Chequer Road.

The choirs presented the money to the Alzheimer’s Society at its Mexborough base in College Road.

This year the men’s group is celebrating its 30th, and it is the tenth anniversary since the women’s group was founded.
