a CHARITY aimed at helping parents suffering the loss of a premature baby has received a boost thanks to an action packed fundraiser.

Staff at the Fairway Hotel in Balby hosted the charity event which featured entertainment, fancy dress competitions and raffles for the Scarlett Eve’s fund and Cancer Research.

The Scarlett Eve’s fund was set up by Emma and Darren Sudworth in December 2010 in memory of their daughter, Scarlett Eve Sudworth, of Warmsworth, who died at just two days old following her premature birth.

The fund donates special memory boxes to the delivery suite at Doncaster Royal Infirmary to offer some comfort to parents suffering the devastating loss of a baby.

Maggie Newman of the Fairway Hotel thanked all those who helped contribute to the success of the fundraiser.

Money is still coming in.
