An Isle school and church drew together for a special service to celebrate mothers and all that they do.
Belton All Saints’ Church of England Primary School was the setting for the annual ‘Chat’ event, designed as a bonding exercise for the school and church. More than 100 people turned out for the event, that took place in the school hall.
Headteacher Sarah Groves said: “It was a lovely service, conducted by Janice Tindale and with the school choir taking part. The children gave out posies to their mothers during the service and spoke about amother’s love and what their mothers do for them.
