Cash boost to Pub is the Hub announcedby MP in Epworth

A hefty investment in the Pub is the Hub community fund scheme by Heineken has been welcomed by Isle MP Andrew Percy.

Pubs minister Mr Percy announced the £50,000 boost to the scheme during a visit to the Red Lion in Epworth.

The funds will be directed towards Pub is The Hub’s Community Services Fund and regional hub of advisors.

Mr Percy said: “Our nation’s pubs sit at the heart of so many of our local communities and are greatly valued by local people. The work that Pub is The Hub undertakes helps make our pubs more sustainable for the future, enabling them to diversify and offer a range of community services and benefits. “
