full details of a new Tesco supermarket set to create 130 jobs have been submitted to Doncaster Council’s planning committee for approval.

The plans include details of the layout of the supermarket and petrol station that Henry Boot Developments are set to create.

A spokesman for Tesco said the store itself will create around 120 to 130 jobs for local people.

Outline planning permission was granted for the Tesco supermarket and petrol station at Omega Boulevard in Thorne last year.

The site was previously used as a car storage and distribution centre.
