Patron role for firm

A SPECIALIST supplier which ranks among the major players in its field has become a patron of Doncaster Chamber.

The success and growth of Peninne Stone, which employs 92 people, has secured its position as one of the UK’s top three architectural cast stone manufacturers.

Now in its tenth anniversary year, the business has invested in its production facilities at Carcroft and holds several industry accreditations.

Chamber chief executive Phil Harris said Pennine Stone had contributed considerably to the local economy and grown to become one of Doncaster’s leading manufacturing businesses.

Its managing director Richard Walsh said the development showed the firm’s commitment to the local area and emphasised how far it had come in the last ten years.
