editorial image

BUS company Stagecoach launches its new Doncaster park and ride on Monday.

The service will run from a car park next to the Morrisons Superstore near to White Rose Way and junction three of the M18.

Buses will run non-stop from the site to the town centre and Frenchgate interchange every 15 minutes between 7am and 7pm Monday to Saturday.

The route will be operated by two low floor buses. The car park has 250 spaces and new bus lanes are being created in the area to help provide quick access from there to the town centre.

There will be an introductory fare of £1 a day per person.
