Networking pays off for growing grou
A MARKET town branch of a networking group has reached its first anniversary.
The Bawtry group of national organisation 4Networking held a celebratory breakfast at Bliss Food attended by about 30 businesses.
Vikky Clarke, area leader of Bawtry 4N, said: “There has always been a buzz in Bawtry as far as business is concerned and this has been proved by the success of the networking group where we had 42 businesses attend the launch back in March 2011. The majority of these are now full members of 4N.”
The group evolved on the back of the Doncaster group after it was identified that a lot of businesses from the Bawtry region were attending. It quickly established itself as a fully fledged 4N group with membership being rapidly taken up thanks to the initiative of 200 days for £200, which allows members to visit any 4N meeting in the UK. It has proved to be especially successful for businesses that want to enter a different region and need introductions.
The next meeting of Bawtry 4N takes place on Friday March 16 at 8.30am. For more information please visit www.4Networking.biz and click on the Bawtry meet. Businesses are welcome to visit up to three times without becoming a member. All they need to do is bring business cards or literature and £10 to cover the cost of their breakfast.
