A new pet store will bring six new jobs to Cortonwood Retail Park this month.
Recruitment is taking place now for the Pets at Home brand, that gives workers employed by the company the option to gain specialist qualifications in pet care.
Pets at Home is investing more than £400,000 in the store, which opens at Cortonwood on July 26 and will offer a wide range of products for all kinds of pets, along with a groom room and a veterinary surgery.
Area manager Tim Golding said: “We will provide advice to customers. We are all passionate about pets, which is evident to everyone who visits a Pets at Home store. Staff are fully qualified to advise on all types of pets from rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas to fish and reptiles.”
