AN engineering business is boosting job prospects in the borough by opening a new training centre.

Specialist Engineering Services (SES) new centre has opened its doors in Blyth Road, Harworth.

In partnership with Jobcentre Plus over 30 people have already undergone a comprehensive railway training programme.

Upon successful completion of the scheme trainees receive full certification enabling them to pursue a future career within the railway industry.

Mayor of Doncaster, Peter Davies said: “I fully commend the true Doncaster spirit demonstrated by Specialist Engineering Services, giving Doncaster people a real chance for employment”.
