BENTLEY businesswoman Clare Fiori has changed the complexion of her career – by changing the complexions of Doncaster women in a new way.

She’s presenting her new ‘face’ at a newly-launched beauty and holistic training centre in the Jupiter Business Park.

The venture builds on her 20 years’ experience in the beauty industry, dealing with customers in a number of salons.

But she’s taken a step back from that, and has created to pass those skills on to other therapists.

Clare has worked in various Further Education Colleges teaching a range of full and part-time courses including NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy and NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy, as well as VTCT Indian Head Massage and Swedish Body Massage. During this time she expanded her qualifications for different treatments and product knowledge to include a teaching certificate.

“After years in Further Education Colleges I had my own ideas and beliefs which would only be possible to implement in a private business, and so The Beauty and Holistic Training Centre idea began,” she said.

She was given extra business advice by Success Doncaster. “I received support and encouragement in the early stages of starting my business, when I wasn’t sure which way to go, and was offered an abundance of information including useful contacts, finance options available and local business seminars I could attend.

“Without this help I think I would have really struggled,” she added.

Clare’s centre offers short courses in beauty, holistic therapies and nail treatments aiming to provide a unique learning experience with a relaxed yet professional atmosphere in specially-designed premises.

The centre also offers exclusive Daisy Birthing antenatal active birth and relaxation classes for mums-to-be.

Classes focus on breathing and relaxation techniques as well as pregnancy specific yoga movements and self hypnosis to create a truly relaxing and positive birthing experience.

Many classes will run during school times to ensure they are accessible for parents with young children looking to retrain or change career, they will also be available on an evening to cater for people who work and cannot attend full-time College.

A variety of courses available from this month. Further information from Clare on 07966 587345.
