DONCASTER butcher Carl Fenton has again proved his sausages are real sizzlers.

He and his team, Rob Inman and Craig Wilson, travelled to the British Pork Executive East Midlands roadshow at Newark and returned with the award for best sausage in show.

“We’ve been making this traditional pork sausage for 40 years and have refined it with a few special ingredients. We’ve sold tonnes over the years, it’s the customers’ favourite,” said Carl at his shop in Tickhill Market Place.

Next year they will compete for the Champion of Champions title.
