Bonjour to the Euro market

A TOUCH of ooh-la-la will be coming to Bawtry, near Doncaster, next weekend.

The car park of the Penny Farthing in High Street will be turned into a Continental Market for the day on Sunday, October 2, so residents have an opportunity to experience tastes from across Europe.

The event, at the High Street hotel, runs from 9am to 5pm will see market traders coming from all over Europe dressed in their colourful traditional costumes bringing with them a wide variety of produce.

These will include olives, Italian nougat, charcuterie, biscuits from Brittany, soaps and lavender from Marseille, croissants, crepes, garlic, paella, French and Swiss cheese and Belgian chocolate.
