A Barnsley based video production company is making adverts for Channel 4 with other work being shown at cinemas around the country.
Barnsley-based Visualised It, based in the Digital Media Centre, worked with an advisor from the Growth Hub to help them manage their processes more effectively.
The company was working with six freelancers - all of whom were self-employed - but it had ambitions to get them all onto permanent contracts, increase sales revenue and spread their business across more clients.
Initially, they were struggling to achieve these aims as so much time was spent editing videos and the day-to-day running of the business, rather than developing a clear strategy for business growth.
In order to achieve their aim, they dedicated time and allowed a budget towards marketing and outlined a clear plan for the company to work towards.
Following advice and guidance from the Growth Hub, as well as employing all six members of staff on permanent contracts, the company has now been chosen as a preferred supplier for three TV advertising organisations.
The company, which was set up in 2013, has produced over 70 commercials, working with Sky AdSmart, London Live and Made Television.

Visualised It is now on target for a 30 per cent increase in profit by the end of 2016.
