Jewson has completed the successful integration of the Build Center branches in Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham and Doncaster.
The valued addition of these branches, four of 98 to be converted across the UK, has strengthened Jewson’s position as the leading builders’ merchant with a network of over 600 branches. Jewson acquired the Build Center business from Wolseley UK in November 2011.
The North of England is a notable region of growth, where 33 new branches have been added. For customers in Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham and Doncaster this means even greater convenience, with a local Jewson on their doorstep. Stocking a huge range of building products from everyday core essentials to the latest sustainable innovations - the friendly and professional staff at Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham and Doncaster branches will continue to provide a first class service to local trade professionals and the community.
Rotherham is now also a specialist Tool Hire branch, designed to provide customers with the right equipment, flexible hire periods, fast delivery services and discounts for long-term hire. In the event that a hire item is not in stock, delivery is guaranteed within 24 hours. Jewson has invested millions to increase the product range on offer within the branches and to ensure excellent availability, thereby offering the best service possible to customers.
Local customers, as well as staff at Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham and Doncaster branches have been at the heart of the change; with regular communication, support and training provided to ensure it was business as usual throughout the integration.
