A NIGHT of glitz and glamour is being organised by a raunchy dance troupe to raise money for charity.

Rouge, one of Doncaster’s newest burlesque acts is staging its Christmas Extravaganza in aid of St John’s Hospice in Balby.

The evening at Parklands Sports and Social Club in Wheatley Hall Road will include a variety of performances by the eight women, as well a comedian and DJ.

Jennifer Cooper, Rouge dancer and choreographer, said “I was shocked to read that one in three women will get breast cancer. That could easily be one of us.

“St. John’s Hospice does a lot for those with terminal illnesses, and we want to make sure that with our money they can do even more.”

Rouge wants to raise as much money as possible. The evening starting at 7.30pm on Friday, December 9, will also incluide a raffle with prizes including a personla fitness session and beauty treatments.

Dancers also took part in a recent Calendar Girls photo shoot. Calendars will also be on sale priced £5.

Tickets can be purchased from the club priced £7. Call 01302 349881. Over 16s only.
