NEW arrival will be welcomed in Stainforth this summer as a vicar and his wife announce they’re expecting a baby girl.

Little Grace Joy is due on June 21 to Rev Andrew Allington, 55, and his wife Hazel, who tied the knot at St Mary’s Church in July last year.

Former model and action girl Hazel, 35, is feeling “full of energy” and can’t wait to become a mum with what she hopes will be a water birth at the vicarage.

She said: “Andrew has been extremely supportive. He’s even been heading out to the supermarket in the middle of the night to satisfy my peanut butter cravings.”

Mr Allington added: “It’s fantastic. I love married life and the companionship that comes with it. We’ve chosen the name Grace Joy for its special Christian significance and we just hope that she’ll live up to her name.”

Hazel has even found time to set up her own business, making her own brand angels and fairies out of wool. Her designs will be available to buy at the spring craft fair at the Doncaster Deaf Trust in Leger Way from 10am to 4pm today. Admission is free.
