Building firm helps charity

A DONCASTER building firm is amongst those who contributed to a Children In Need project set to be featured in a BBC documentary.

Kayser Building Supplies of Kirk Sandall was approached by DIY SOS: The Big Build to donate new eco friendly railway sleepers to the Norris Green Youth Centre in Liverpool.

The charity special sees the DIY SOS team regenerating the youth centre and was screened on BBC One.

Carl Jones, director of Kayser Building Supplies, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be able to contribute to such an interesting and worthwhile project, We wish the DIY SOS team every success and we hope that the sleepers will play a useful role for a long time to come.”
