A TOUR marking the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible will stop off in Doncaster later this month.
The People’s Bible - a nationwide tour - is coming to Doncaster Fish Market next Tuesday, September 20, and will be there from 10am to 4pm.
Along with the people of Doncaster, for the next four months, people across the country are being invited to write out two verses of the Bible on paper with a digital pen.
The pen connects to www.thepeoplesbible.org website and within a minute the handwritten verses will be visible online.
Organisers say it means people in the borough will have the chance to make their mark in history by contributing to the first ever digital handwritten Bible.
