Say hello to Bert – or Bertie to give him his Sunday name.
He’s a bundle of fun who is simply longing to find a loving home.
Bert, a small Staffy, is currently being cared for by the volunteer workers at Rain Rescue.
His carers say he loves to play, is very well behaved and has been absolutely no trouble while he has been looked after at the Kennels on Laughton Common Road, Laughton Common, Rotherham.
Bert can be a little shy and does seem to lack a little in confidence, but he does get on very well with other dogs at the kennels.
The Staffy is only 18 months old, and has boundless energy.
The centre says he needs a home where he can gets lots of exercise and playtime to burn it off.
The chunky chap also loves a cuddle.
A spokesperson for Rain Rescue said: “He walks lovely on a lead and has been out on many walks with his friend Beau, another pretty Staffy lady who is also looking for a home.
“Bert likes to walk side by side with Beau and give her little kisses on the face as they walk along.”
