Decorations on a real Christmas tree.

The Christmas festivities start next week on the North of the Isle of Axholme with not one but two Christmas Craft Fairs taking place.

The River Don Tavern at Eastoft will be kicking things off on Tuesday 27th November at 6pm with all proceeds made going to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Karen and Gordon will be welcoming back regular favourites and a few new faces to the festivities and Gordon will be on hand to serve you with his infamous Baileys hot chocolate and a slice of Stollen or two. To find out more about the River Don Craft Fair call Karen on 01724 898035.

Next stop for the festivities is Luddington Village Hall who will be opening the hall for their much loved annual on Sunday 2nd December from 1pm. The craft fair promises to be a great place to pick up something special for your loved ones with a selection of stalls offering crafts of all kinds and a delightful selection of stocking fillers, table decorations, jewellery, preserves, cakes gifts and favours. There will be card making activities for the kids and the village hall committee will be on hand serving refreshments. There are still a hand full of tables left to hire at Luddington for just £5 a table – if you’re interested please call Sam on 07766 317619.
