Arsonists cause street bin blaze

ARSONISTS were responsible for torching a wheelie bin in the early hours of the morning in Darfield.

A crew from Dearne Fire Station was dispatched to tackle the fire on Church Street at 2am on Monday.

Firefighters used a single hose reel to extinguish the blaze and left after 20 minutes.

A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire had been started deliberately.
