Appeal to help sick pets

A MEXBOROUGH charity store is appealing for people to lend a hand and raise money for sick and injured pets in the local area.

The PDSA shop, on High Street, raises funds to provide free veterinary treatment for sick and injured pets in the local area at Sheffield PDSA PetAid hospital.

Staff are desperate for more volunteers to come forward to help out on the shop floor and to organise stock.

Store manager Laura Ogley said: “Hours and days are flexible, so volunteering with us can be easily worked around other commitments.”

“With all the new autumn stock coming in and Christmas coming up we have a lot of work to do. Anyone who can spare the time to help will definitely be an asset to the team.”

No experience is necessary as full training is provided.
