Acclaimed comedian, actor and presenter Alexander Armstrong will bring his brand new stage show to Sheffield’s Lyceum theatre next month.

Fresh from a role in ITV show, Your Face Looks Familiar, Alexander Armstrong celebrates his love of music and great songs in this fantastic show.

Along with his band, he will introduce audiences to the songs he loves, from jazz standards and rock classics to some lesser-known pop delights including Spandau Ballet’s True and Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.

Alexander said: “I’ve never done anything like this before but I am so looking forward to heading out on the road with this extraordinary band of musicians, and to meeting the people who come along. I wonder if they’ll be Pointless fans, comedy fans or - strange to say - music fans. Certainly there’ll be something for everyone in the evening.”

He comes to Sheffield Lyceum theatre on October 14 and tickets cost £22.50.
