They might have a combined age of nearly 160, but crooning duo Henry Hall, 84 and Malcolm Sykes, 75 are no dinosaurs when it comes to technology, sending out a number of tweets since Saturday's appearance on the hit ITV talent show which saw them wow the judges.

And the pair, who have been performing together for five years, used their account to pay tribute to the victims of the Manchester terrorist attack.

They wrote: "Our most sincere condolences to anyone and everyone affected by this horrific attack! All we can do is send as much HOPE & PEACE your way!"

Henry and Malcolm got a yes vote from all the judges and Simon Cowell joked: "I want to hear you sing Let's Get Ready To Rumble."

"You are the kind of act that you feel good after seeing."

The pair will now have to wait to see if they are one of the acts selected to make it through to the live shows.
