ENGELBERT Humperdinck may have failed to conquer Eurovision but a student-led Abba tribute band are hoping to score more than nil point.

The Doncaster College dancing queens and kings contingent named Avla will be singing and performing in the style of the Swedish superstars for their own version of the Eurovision.

The production, called Eurobeat, has been billed as a laugh-out-loud funny musical paying homage to the biggest annual song contest in the world.

There will even be a chance for the audience to vote for their favourite songs during the interactive stage show.

Eurobeat will be held in the Harvey Theatre at University Centre Doncaster campus in High Melton on Thursday, June 14 and the following day.

Tickets are available by calling 01302 553929 or 553934.
