Witnesses sought after fatal crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 26 year old Denaby man was fatally injured when his scooter hit a car.
Andrew William Taylor, 26, suffered severe head injuries when his Peugeot Velocity scooter hit the kerb and collided with an unattended Renault Laguna car on Woodland Way.

Mr Taylor, who lived on Woodland Way, was pronounced dead at Doncaster Royal Infirmary after the crash, which happened at around 5am on Sunday.

Police are asking for any witnesses who may have seen Mr Taylor riding his scooter in the area on Saturday evening, or in the early hours of Sunday, to contact the South Yorkshire Police accident witness helpline on 0114 2202970.
