HERO angler Lee Aimison slung his hook this week – and saved a young mum from death as she hurtled head-first over this killer weir, amazingly missing all the deadly rocks below!
Mexborough man Lee snatched the 21-year-old from the River Don waters – while two other anglers – from Rawmarsh and Rotherham – were saving the woman's friend from drowning on the other side of the river.

The dramatic double-rescue happened at Sprotbrough falls, near Conisbrough – at the very spot where an eight-year-old was dashed to his death on the rocks, seven years ago.
