Nut firms recall Christmas snacks in salmonella scare

TWO different varieties of popular Christmas snacks have been recalled after it was found they contained salmonella.
Imperial Snack Foods has recalled one batch of its own brand brazil nuts and JLM Global Foods have withdrawn a batch of their own-brand Snack 'n' Time Mixed Nuts.

The Snack 'n' Time Mixed Nuts are supplied exclusively to One Stop convenience stores and anyone buying them should contact the company's Customer Relations Team for a full refund on 01325 485484.

The two recalled products are:

Imperial Snack Foods 200g Brazil Nuts with a Best Before Date: 17.11.09. The batch code: 8320.K.

JLM Global Foods 340g Snack 'n' Time Mixed Nuts with a Best Before Date of 08/09 and a batch code of 08316 C.

No other products are known to be affected.
