FOOTY mad youngsters are being given the chance to improve their soccer skills at a professional coaching session at Dearne Valley College.
The On-Side Soccer coaching programme will be led by ex Sheffield Wednesday Academy Director Clive Baker along with Neville Burbeary - the current Assistant Academy Manager.

The free session will include games, ball control, passing and dribbling, shooting and turning techniques for boys and girls aged eight to 14.

It will take place on the college's synthetic pitch on Tuesday (September 9) from 4.30pm to 6pm and children will need to bring with them a change of comfortable kit, trainers or moulded football boots and a drink.

Parents and children are also advised to arrive early to fill in a kid's club registration form available from DVC Sports before the session.

There are 50 places available which can be booked by contacting DVC Sports on 01709 513315.
