A close shave of a different kind for three brave firefighters
Everyone was rooting for three brave firefighters from Mexborough station when they experienced a close shave of a different kind.
Firemen Dave Andrews and Ryan Frost and watch manager Paul Jennings had a wince inducing body wax treatment at Doncaster's Cannons gym to raise money for injured colleagues.
Ryan and Paul had their chests waxed and Dave had his arms, legs, back and chest waxed. Their hair-raising experience notched up £2,000 for the Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
