The Christmas season got into full swing at Yorkshire Wildlife Park as crowds flocked to the attraction’s first ever three day festive fair.
Nearly 20,000 visitors made it a record winter weekend as they enjoyed treats including a carousel and ice rink.
Hundreds of children visited Polar Bear Santa only months after the arrival of the country’s only polar bear Victor, 15, who celebrated his 16th birthday last week.
Yorkshire Wildlife Park director Cheryl Williams said: “We love Christmas at YWP and the fair was a wonderful occasion.
“Polar Bear Santa was almost as popular as Victor himself and sold out all weekend. We were really lucky with the weather.”
