A DONCASTER business has made a donation to St John’s Hospice.

Rhona McIntosh from H&T Pawnbrokers presented the Balby-based hospice with a cheque for £150 after funday held at the store.

The funday proved to be great fun for visitors with a grand prize draw, free jewellery cleaning, a cake sale and children’s’ goody bags.

She said: “We value the communities that we work in and like to support them in any way we can, we decided to support Doncaster community by choosing St John’s Hospice. An H&T staff member has personal experience of the excellent care provided by the hospice services as their relative was recently cared for there.”

Alison Constantine, voluntary services manager at the hospice, said: “We’re delighted that H&T chose to fundraise for our hospice and are very grateful for their support.”
