A 12 hour rave is to be held at a Doncaster club in memory of a popular local DJ to mark the first anniversary of his death.

James Vaughan, known as DJ Vorny, died last year and clubbers will remember him with the half-day event at The Warehouse, where he was a regular behind the decks, on May 28.

The Bank Holiday Sunday event will take place from 4pm to 4am.

The 35-year-old DJ who died on May 23, 2016, performed regularly at the North Bridge Road venue and at club nights across Yorkshire.

An inquest held late last year revealed that he died from the toxicological effects of cocaine and morphine at his home in Skellow.
