Wheatsheaf Singers set for festive Doncaster show

The Doncaster Wheatsheaf Singers will be once again be performing in their annual Charity Christmas Concert to raise much needed funds for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

The concert will take place at The Minster of St. George on Friday 12, December, commencing at 7.30pm.

Their special guests this year are Hatfield Brass Band.

The Co-operative Funeralcare have once again arranged for a 20ft Christmas tree to be erected in the Minster and this will act as a “Memory Tree” for anyone attending the concert to be able to leave a message for their loved ones who have passed away which was very well received last year.

The tree will be in place from December 5 unti the beginning of January.

This is a very popular concert and tickets are now available from Co-operative Travelcare, 37/39 St. Sepulchre Gate, Doncaster or The Co-operative Funeralcare, 89-90 Spring Gardens. Tickets can also be purchased on the door or from band and choir members and cost £6.00 (£5.00 concession & Co-op members) to include an array of festive refreshments donated by the Co-operative Food Group.
