brides to be can take the stress out of planning their dream day with a wedding fair at a Thorne pub.

The Canal Tavern is hosting its first wedding event on Tuesday, February 26, from 5pm to 10pm in the newly-refurbished function suite.

The event will give blushing brides a chance to look around at the venue whilst browsing the bridal stalls.

The pub that play hosts to weddings throughout the year is now offering a series of new gold, silver and bronze wedding packages for 2013 details of which will be available on the day.

Stalls on the day will include photographers, bridal wear, menswear, wedding cars, accessories, table decorations and florists so you can arrange everything for a wedding to remember.

Manageress Nicola Sheppard said: “We would encourage people to come along and broswe the stalls in style with a glass of bucks fizz on arrival and canapes.

“The event will be a one-stop-shop for brides to be with everything they need to plan their perfect day all under one roof.

“Guests will also be able to look at our newly refurbished function suite on the night.”

Staff will be on hand on the night to give visitors a helping hand and provide full details of all the wedding packages available.

The venue, which recently underwent a complete refurbishment, is no stranger to hosting special occasion and has the facilities to cater for birthdays, anniversaries, christenings funeral wakes and private parties in the function room.
