VETERAN snooker players will prove they haven’t gone to pot when their annual tour hits Barnsley Metrodome, on Tuesday July 12.
Thousands of snooker fans enjoyed last year’s tour and the legends proved they can still play a bit, delivering 20 centuries at 18 events around the country.
This included a magical 147 from Jimmy White.
If you’ve ever wanted the chance to not only see your favourites play, but to mix and mingle, say hello, and get that all-important photograph or signature, then Snooker Legends gives you that, plus a few laughs along the way!
The main core of players have all signed up again for the 2011 tour, including Jimmy White, Dennis Taylor, John Parrott, Cliff Thorburn, John Virgo and referee Michaela Tabb.
Players will be paying tribute to former team–member, Alex “Hurricane” Higgins who died earlier this year. Snooker Legends was created as a platform for players like Alex to play again in front of his fans at some the greatest snooker venues.
The ticket hotline is 01226 730060.
