Schools urged to join building site campaign
THE sales team at David Wilson Yorkshire East’s brand new development – Trinity Gate in Finningley - is calling out to all schools in the area in its plight to raise awareness about the importance of site safety. Yorkshire’s leading housebuilder will be bringing 44 family homes to the area and wants to make sure that children in Doncaster and Finningley have as much knowledge as possible about building sites and what not to do when they are around them.
David Wilson wants as many schools as possible to come forward and get involved with its ‘Operation Site Safety’.
A site manager from Trinity Gate will do a short presentation to participating schools about the importance of staying safe near a building site and then show the pupil various types of safety clothing required for work on site explaining how it helps to keep the site managers safe.
After a Q and A session the children will be invited to take part in a quiz and the lucky winners will be invited to Trinity Gate to look at construction equipment and even sit in a fork lift truck.
Schools who want to get involved can ring 01423 566496 or email email@example.com for more information.
Sharon Hyde, Sales Manager for Trinity Gate said; “The team at David Wilson is passionate about keeping the community’s children safe. This project will let the kids know how dangerous building sites can be and to steer clear of them at all times.”
“We hope that plenty of schools come forward in the quest to keeping its pupils safe and away from live developments.”
