Have your say

Join the A1 northbound and turn off just before you reach the Wentbridge viaduct with it’s beautiful views over the lush Went Valley and in less than two of minutes you will find yourself in a village which on a quiet day looks like a scene that time forgot.

You really could have travelled back through the ages when passing through Wentbridge with its historic reputation for highwaymen and connections with Robin Hood.

There’s not a lot moving that’s for sure except that is when it comes to the the Blue Bell Inn. Now you are talking about a different image altogether.

When people in the know want the combination of good meals in lovely olde world surroundings then this is the place they head for.

This one time sixteenth century coaching inn has a deserved reputation for excellent food, fine wines and great beers – all served in a very pleasant atmosphere by friendly staff.

An extensive menu is available seven days a week - complemented on Sundays with a superb carvery. In addition, a wide range of daily specials are also available.

All food is freshly cooked using the finest local produce and The Blue Bell is rightly proud of its wide range of beers including a selection of cask ales.
