DONCASTER popstar Louis Tomlinson will have to find even more room in his home for music gongs after One Direction won three MTV Video Music Awards last night.

The overwhelmed 20-year-old joined bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne on the stage to collect their trio of awards for Best Pop Video, Best New Artist and Most Share Worthy video, all for the promo for their huge hit ‘What Makes You Beautiful’.

An excited Louis, formerly of Stoops Lane in Bessacarr, said on Twitter: “Wow can’t believe we won three awards! I said it on stage but i’ll say it again! The awards are because of you guys, thank you everyone!”
