WATH hypnotherapist Victoria Dawson’s book, Complementary Therapies: The Essential Guide, has been published this week.
Victoria began writing in 2009 and this is her sixth book to be published, with another two books to be released within the next couple of months.
Her latest book has been co-written with Antonia Chitty, and is a practical guide that brings together expert advice about the most commonly used complementary therapies.
The book explores the benefits of each therapy and includes case studies giving a balanced and realistic view of each treatment.
Victoria told the Times: “I’m delighted to see this book in print. More and more people are turning to complementary therapies in order to relieve stress, aid relaxation or gain relief from illness.
“I hope that this guide will provide the reader with a clear outline of what to expect as complementary therapies can seem a little baffling to someone who has no prior knowledge.”
When she’s not writing Victoria works as a local hypnotherapist and sleep practitioner from her premises in Wath.
