Bosses at Robin Hood Airport are hoping to get their passengers onto boats.
The Airport will host its seventh annual Cruise Show on Saturday in conjunction with Thomson and First Choice retail, with details about fly cruise programmes available from South Yorkshire.
Advice will be on offer about cruise itineraries available from the Airport across the Mediterranean and beyond. Ports of call include Palma, Rhodes, Cyprus, Turkey, Sicily, Egypt, Madeira, Morocco and the Canary Islands.
Kate Stow, head of marketing and communications for Peel Airports said: “Our fly-cruise programme is very popular and is growing year on year. We are expecting hundreds to attend this fun and informative event, which will showcase all the varied holiday options available from the Airport.
“We are always looking to add to the locations we reach and the passengers we can attract and are delighted to offer cruise goers from South Yorkshire the opportunity to experience cruise holidays directly from their local airport.”
The event will take place in the Vulcan Viewing Lounge at Robin Hood Airport from 10am to 3pm. Parking costs of £1 apply. In order to attend, visitors must register in advance with Thomson Holidays on 01302 344060
