It’s Saturday night fever for One Direction!

ONE Direction are living the American dream after landing a slot on television show Saturday Night Live.

The fresh-faced five-piece have been snapped up as the musical act to appear on the famous comedy sketch show which is aired to millions of viewers across America.

The band, including Doncaster’s Louis Tomlinson, are currently bidding to break the US so far during an overseas tour and so far it seems to be working as hoardes of screaming fans align the streets outside wherever they are due to make an appearance.

Louis and the boys will line up alongside actress Sofia Vergara most famous for her role on Sky One comedy show Modern Family on April 7.

The X-Factor heart-throbs Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Bessacarr’s Louis, will also perform at Australia’s Logie Awards next month.
