Tattoo Jam, the UK’s biggest tattoo festival, is making a return to Doncaster today for its sixth year.
More than 300 tattoo artists from across the globe have descended on Doncaster Racecourse for the bash which kicked off yesterday with a trade day.
But today and tomorrow the event is open to the public with scores of people expected to attend to add to their ink collections.
Organisers are promising this year’s show will be bigger and better than ever before, with a string of acclaimed artists lining up to ink scores of tattoo enthusiasts over the course of the weekend.
Attractions across the ink-credible event will include the Tattoo Masters’ Ball, trade stands, vendors and lots of live entertainment.
The event will also including artists who tattoo traditionally by hand, using basic instruments rather than a tattoo machine which is used by most contemporary tattooists.
Hundreds of private booths will be set up at Town Moor for tattoo fans to add to their collections with all kinds of designs and tastes catered for.
In previous years, thousands of enthusiasts have descended on Doncaster to add to impressive collections of body art and piercings, including full body coverings.
