Gordon’s Alive! Brian Blessed wins Sci-Fi award

DONCASTER born actor Brian Blessed certainly had something to shout about after receiving a living legend award.

The booming-voiced star received the honour at the Sci-Fi and fantasy magazine SFX Awards at a star-studded ceremony.

The former Bolton on Dearne Secondary Modern School pupil said he was “thrilled” with the accolade.
